The Coronoia Reloaded
Surfing the Waves of SARS-CoV-2 and Lockdowns in Canada and Around the World
In a way, writing about the ongoing insanity is helping me keep sane ... that's the last sentence of the conclusion of volume 2 of the Coronoia series. "The Coronoia Reloaded" was published on Bastille Day of 2021, sadly also coincident with President Macron's announcement of vaccine passports to further establish totalitarian central control of life in France.
The book is currently awaiting re-approval from Amazon KDP (Kindle Desktop Publishing) after undergoing a few minor corrections. For the cover photo, I again took a picture of a discarded mask sullying my Southern Georgian Bay beach. The mask is a stark symbol of the futile precautions (see Chapter 13) we continue to engage in, while SARS-CoV-2 just wants to be its viral self (see Part I).
Looking at the table of contents, you will recognize the 13 blog posts published between November 2020 and July 2021 that form the basis for the chapters. Most edits were limited to formatting as the chapters are meant to represent my knowledge and thinking at the time of the original posting. The preface and conclusion are one page each, providing a bit of personal context for the book.
There is a lot to be said about writing and publishing books. One of the more interesting yet concerning observations of 2020/2021 is that printed material is more difficult to censor than digital online information. I am planning to continue writing about the "pandemic" on this blog and foresee enough material for a third Coronoia volume. In the meantime, I hope that volume 2 will find some interest and help readers make sense of the corona crisis. It is available as paperback with the eBook under review by KDP, including in the following Amazon "markets":
